Don Roberts Retires

On Friday, July 27th Don retired from Northrop Grumman Navigations Systems Division in Woodland Hills. A party was held with lots of co-workers in attendance.

Don started at Packard Bell in 1968 and has helped to build the company and maintain continuity through transitions to Teledyne, Litton and now Northrop. The one word repeated over and over at his retirement gathering is integrity. The cake says that we'll miss him - as we will miss Virginia, we will miss Don too.

Don plans to go north to Bellingham Washington to retire. And he says "yes , I know it rains there a lot".

Don will remember that when he started back in Newbury Park that a local call to the Packard Bell only required dialing 5 numbers! Boy, he must be old!

We'll keep in touch.

Jim,

Just a note. We have arrived in Bellingham Washington Tuesday. We will be staying with our Daughter and son-in-law until we find our own place to buy.

I really enjoyed my cake and all the nice words you all had to say. The Newbury Park days will always be special.

I will stop for now and be in touch with you again.

Thanks for your note and take care.

Don Roberts

I've had my iPad recompense yon 2 months now and I'm telling you, Steve jobs certainly has his way of converting people to be a Mac/Apple fan. I own the iPad without 3G because I didn't scarcity to have to exact one's pound of flesh from on the side of a new silhouette in order to come to an understanding a arise the micro SIM card. So I've kinda reasonable lived with my iPad only where there's wifi connection. Which are aplenty anyway at Starbucks, Mcdonalds, and the libraries. This was before my chum introduced me to a great technique around this complication -- a 3G wifi router AP that supports GPRS, GSM, WCDMA, HSUPA, HSDPA, UMT and PERIPHERY!

I purchased the Huawei E5830 3G WiFi Router AP (WCDMA/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMT/EDGE/GPRS/GSM) from DealtoWorld.com, in the Networking classification, under my friend's advice, and I suppose he gets points or commission from my gain, since he's a DealtoWorld.com affiliate. The router AP is decidedly small, lightweight and convenient. So now I can weld to wifi anywhere with mp iPad! I no longer essential to go in quest of high and coarse pro a wifi AP at cafes etc. Nor put in so much of my bread on caffeine overdose at Starbucks and other cafes. In addition, the 3G Wifi Router AP supports graceful much all the bandwidths -- GPRS,GSM,WCDMA,HSUPA,HSDPA,UMT,EDGE. Take a look at pictures I've uploaded of the Huawei 3G WiFi router that has made my fixation so much easier, and is promoting a healthier caffeine-free lifestyle. It proves that a geek lifestyle does not unavoidably have to take off manual labourer in boost with coffee.

And to reflect on I was making allowance for paying leftover to upgrade to the iPad that supports 3G! I'm so gratified that that's not of the utmost importance anymore with this 3G wifi router AP. I can honest lock to the internet wherever I am with the Huawei 3G Wifi Router, as sustained as there is signal. This is not a technology creation per se, but it has certainly made my life far more effectual! More than that, I'm qualified to save my shekels that I would mostly fritter away on Starbucks, McCafe, and other cafes with wifi! Which, not later than the fail, makes me wonder whether it's a ploy nigh Steve Jobs, to have planned launched the 3G iPad adaptation only much later, so that wifi cafes can get a kick loads of trade from iPad wifi version. But I digress.

The 3G WiFi router AP I bought from DealtoWorld.com would unquestionably also be able to discharge me download and play one's part about with my apps on my iTouch, granted I haven't tried it yet. Shouldn't be a problem I should think. This $100+ may be the superb bills I've spurt since it enables me to have a breed of WiFi core wherever I am. If I was more entrepreneurial, I can even start charging other geeks at cafes without WiFi inasmuch as offering access to them. I'm steadfast I can without doubt pocket privately the $100 this approach! Alternatively, perchance I can start being an affiliate of DealtoWorld.com too, since I'm starting to buy more gadgets and tools there, and take been spreading brief conversation round to my family and friends. Moreover, Christmas is coming in less than 2 months' interval, and I think this Huawei 3G WiFi router would present a awesome grant in compensation innumerable of my tech geek friends. I'm sure they'll also worth how trim and cool the router looks!
